How to Make Vegan Cream Cheese Frosting

This frosting is so simple and tastes just like traditional cream cheese frosting! This frosting is perfect for topping cupcakes or sandwiching between pumpkin whoopie pies!


My favorite way to top this frosting is with Sprinkle Pop Shop sprinkle mixes! They are so colorful and add a fun touch to any treat!




Ingredients:


1/2 cup coconut oil

1/2 cup (4oz) Violife Cream Cheese, or vegan cream cheese

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 cups organic powdered sugar, sifted - additional as needed to get desired thickness


Method of Preparation:


To a large mixing bowl add the coconut oil, and vegan cream cheese and beat to combine until the mixture is creamy.


Add the vanilla and sifted powdered sugar, mix to combine then increase the speed and whip for 2-4 minuets until the mixture becomes light and fluffy.


Store in the refrigerator until ready to use!
